The UN Security Council “condemned in the most strong terms” the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir. It stressed that those responsible and the organizers and sponsors of this ” act of terrorism” have to be introduced to justice.
The 15-nation Council issued a Press Statement on the ‘terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir’ in which the contributors “condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir” on April 22.
UN Security Council Hold organizers behind terrorism attack
The contributors of the Security Council underlined the want to hold perpetrators, organisers, financiers and sponsors of this reprehensible act of terrorism responsible and convey them to justice.
“They warn that the ones responsible for these killings, and entreated all States, as per their obligations under national regulation. It also includes relevant Security Council resolutions, to cooperate with all relevant government in this regard,” it stated.
