A woman in Mumbai has accused a masseuse from Urban Company of assault, hair-pulling, and punching her in the face. A video of the incident has gone viral, showing the two women in a heated argument that quickly escalated into a physical fight.
The 46-year-old woman had booked a massage through the Urban Company app at her home in Wadala to relieve her shoulder stiffness. The masseuse arrived on time, but the argument started before the service could begin.

According to the woman, she disagreed with the large massage bed that the masseuse brought. Finding the masseuse’s behavior inappropriate, she changed her mind and decided to cancel the session. When she began the refund process on the app, the masseuse reportedly lost her temper.
Upset about the cancellation, the masseuse started verbally abusing her, the woman stated in her complaint. The situation quickly escalated into a physical altercation. The masseuse allegedly pulled the woman’s hair and punched her in the face. During the assault, the woman was pushed to the ground, resulting in several scratches on her body.

Her son tried to intervene and was also pushed away. “She is a mad woman. She came into my house and started beating my mother,” he was heard yelling, telling the masseuse to leave.
After the incident, the woman contacted the police. However, the masseuse had left before the police arrived.
Wadala police registered a case and began an investigation. During this investigation, they discovered some inconsistencies in the masseuse’s identity and name on the app, which were later corrected. The police are now conducting a thorough investigation based on the viral video.
