Recently, the 18 seater bus fall into the Alaknanda River on Thursday, and one person dead in it. As per reports, around 7 people injured and various missing after Uttarakhand Bus Accident. “One person has died and 7 people injured after an 18-seater fell into the Alaknanda river in Gholthir of Rudraprayag district. Teams of SDRF, police and management arrive instantly for the rescue operation,” Garhwal Divisional Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey said.
Rescue Operations starts after Uttarakhand Bus Accident
CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that rescue efforts achieved on a warfare footing by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and different organizations. He assured the general public that he was in regular contact with the nearby management to handle the situation properly.
“The news of a bus falling into a river in Rudraprayag district is deeply tragic. Relief and rescue operations carried out by SDRF and other rescue teams. I am in contact with the local administration concerning this matter. I pray to God for everybody’s protection,” Dhami said.
What happens to 18 passenger bus?
As per IG Nilesh Anand Bharane from the Uttarakhand police, the bus went “out of control” and fell into the river near the Gholthir place of Rudraprayag district.
Teams from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), nearby police, and district management have reached the site and starts rescue operations after Uttarakhand Bus Accident. Last week, a similar incident occurs after a private bus fell into a gorge in Mandi. As per reports, at least one individual was killed, and 18 others were left injured because of the incident.
