A 20-year-old woman survived a fall today after jumping from the 4th floor of a hotel in East Delhi Vishwas Nagar. As per reports, the woman, who lives in Sunder Nagri, checked into the hotel with a 22-year-old man from Bulandshahr, UP.

The woman reportedly jumped from the fourth-floor window of their room during a sudden and intense argument with her friend. Fortunately, she narrowly escaped serious injury. She did not land directly on the hard pavement. Witnesses and police say she fell onto a stack of discarded boxes on the ground, that softened the impact and saved her life.
Emergency responders took her to a nearby hospital, where she is receiving treatment. Although her injuries are serious, she is said to be stable.
What police are saying
Farsh Bazar Police Station of Delhi know about the incident after get emergency call about a woman who jumped from a window at Hotel Santosh Residency on 60 Feet Road. The police arrests the 22-year-old man for questioning to find out reason of argument and whether any wrongdoing took place. A forensic team is inspecting the hotel room to piece together what happened.
Officials said an investigation is ongoing. Legal actions will depend on the victim’s statement and the investigation’s findings.
