The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department is heading towards a significant investment in GIS 2025 in Bhopal. They focus on the expansion of tourism infrastructure and attract investors. The state has recognized over 1000 hectares of land for development. On 2nd day of summit on Tuesday, the dedicated panel discussion will explore the role of tourism and culture to transforms the “Future-Ready Madhya Pradesh.”
The event will see the participation of famous personalities, include Union Minister for Tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Managing Director, Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, Sheo Shekhar Shukla, V. Vidyavathi, and Principal Secretary, Tourism, Culture, and Religious Trusts & Endowments Department.
MP Tourism Department attracts investors towards GIS 2025
Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board has introduce the Tourism Policy 2025 and Film Tourism Policy 2025 to attract investors. It offers exclusive incentives. The state aims to develop resorts, hotels, golf courses, and wayside amenities to improve its tourism appeal. Mega projects with investments exceed to Rs 100 crore will get preferential incentives. It includes the land allocation at collector guideline rates up to 90 years.
The capital grants are also range from 15% to 30%, up to 90 crore, that will provided to enhance large-scale investments.
GIS transforms the tourism sector
The GIS 2025 will expected to be a turning point for the state’s tourism sector. It improves economic growth and boosts employment in the area. MP capital, Bhopal, hosts the “Invest MP Global Investor Summit” (GIS) 2025, that is underway on February 24-25. The summit set the aim to showcase the state’s investment potential. It brings global and domestic investors together.
The government signed 19 MoUs On Monday with different companies and countries. They take these efforts to improve the investment and developmental activities in the state. It consists NTPC Nuclear project for 2 sites of greenfield power plant in MP, AVAADA, and set up of solar and other renewable projects, Torrent power projects, Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce (SICCI)
