Uttar Pradesh leader minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday said Hindus had been dragged out of their homes and killed during Murshidabad Violence over the Waqf Act. He said the violence was instigated. The leader minister stated that “3 Hindus had been dragged out in their houses and killed”. “Who are a lot of these? These are the equal Dalits, deprived and poor, who’re going to get the most benefit from this land,” he said.
Yogi Adityanath stated it became unexpected that this was the “same us of an in which lakhs of acres of land has been occupied on the name of Waqf.”
“They (occupiers) haven’t any papers, no sales data, and ever since the (Waqf) Amendment Bill was passed and action is being taken, violence is being instigated for it,” he was quoted as announcing by data agency.
What happened in Murshidabad Violence?
Earlier this week, 3 people, together with a father-son duo, were killed in the Muslim-majority Murshidabad district following clashes allegedly connected to ongoing protests, a legal offense. The West Bengal police have arrested 150 people over the violence.
After a unique bench of the Calcutta excessive courtroom ordered the deployment of significant forces “quickly” in Murshidabad in the wake of widespread violence, the BSF was deployed, which added it under control.
BSF DIG Nilotpal Kumar Pandey Confirms situation under control
BSF DIG Nilotpal Kumar Pandey stated on Sunday that the situation of Murshidabad Violence in the West Bengal district remained disturbing but under control. “The scenario remains irritating, and those are frightened. However, it’s under management. Yesterday, many areas were in a country, however today, the situation has improved. We wish that with everybody’s efforts, normalcy might be restored soon,” he state.
