Shocking Sky Blue, Red And Black Water Being Supplied To The Homes of People In Delhi. Water is a basic necessity which needs to be available in every country every time and its quality should also not be compromised as it is needed for the survival of people. Water needs to be pure and fresh as people use it for various purposes like drinking, cleaning, washing and also make food from the tap water. Therefore if the water quality is not good it is likely to cause a lot of health problems leading to diseases.

A major and a unique issue was seen in Delhi that the water supply in Delhi was affected. The people reported that the water doesn’t come frequently and comes after different time gaps and the water that comes from the tap water is of different colors. At some times the water is of yellow color, at other times the water color is sky blue, some people even confirmed that the water coming in their houses was of black color while some said that the water coming to their house was of red color.  

A video has gone viral from an area called Peeragarhi, in which a person is showing his washroom and blue water is coming from the taps of his washroom which have gained a lot of attention throughout the social media. The women have also confirmed this issue of water discoloration by showing the videos of their house tap water which seems to be really dirty.

Measures Taken By People

This water discolouration has created alot of controversy in Delhi as people don’t know what has been done with the freshwater due to which they are getting discolored water like black, red and sky blue. The people of Delhi have also requested the authorities to take strict action towards this issue as water is a basic right for humans.

Till then the people of Delhi have stopped the usage of tap water and are instead using the wells and groundwater which they have made due to the shortages of fresh water previously. The people are using the ground water despite it being salty as it is safe from the tap water which is reported to be of different colors. However, excess usage of groundwater could also make the groundwater depleted causing the shortage of groundwater too.
