3.75 crore voters participate in Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 Phase 1
More than 3.75 crore voters can participate in this first phase, which will decide the fate of over 1,300 candidates. This election is very important as it begins a two-phase election process. The ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) faces a strong challenge from the opposition Mahagathbandhan and other parties like the Jan Suraaj Party. To ensure a free and fair election, the Election Commission has put strong security measures in place.
It include deploying Central Armed Police Forces and webcasting at all polling stations for transparency. Voting trends and turnout among different groups, such as youth and women, closely monitored to understand the political mood in this populous state. Election results are expected on November 14, 2025.
