Sam Pitroda’s make the controversial comments on China. On this, Congress General Secretary, Jairam Ramesh clarified that party stance state that Congress have not same views as Pitroda. After BJP Slams Sam Pitroda, the Congress leader took to X and said that Sam Pitroda’s views are not reflects as of INC party, regarding China.
The views expressed by Pitroda on China are definitely NOT the views of us, they said. China is our first foreign policy, external security, and economic challenge, Jairam Ramesh states in X post.
BJP Slams Sam Pitroda: INC Questioned on it
INC has raised questions on BJP approach to China. It consists of the PM’s public clean chit on it on June 19, 2020. Our recent statement on China was 28th January 2025. It is regrettable that parliament denied the opportunity to address the situation and express the collective resolve to meet challenges together.
BJP hit back at Pitroda for comments. They state that his views reflect the stance of the INC Party. Sam Statement on India- China Equation
Sam Pitroda is the overseas unit head of the INC Party. He said, that threat from China, India’s nuclear-armed neighbor, blown out of proportion. It shows that Delhi stop taking Beijing as enemy. This is why the BJP Slams Sam Pitroda and claims these are Congress minds.
“I don’t understand the threat from China. I think this problem is blown out of proportion because US try to define enemy, he said.” He also said, “ I believe the time has come for all countries to together, not confront. Our method is confrontational from starting, and this attitude makes enemies and make garners support in the country.
