The counting of votes for delhi polls has starts on 8 february, 8 AM. The Early trends show the BJP Leads with 9 Seats. AAP follows the polls with a lead of 4 seats, and other parties still hope. The initial rounds of counting show that the BJP have the upper hand in constituencies and has the highest chance to win the Delhi elections. AAP performance remains closely to watch because the party also aims to gain ground in traditional strongholds
According to election officials, the smooth counting are going till now, with the tight security around counting centres. All eyes are on the BJP to maintain early momentum if the AAP and other parties can close their gap.
BJP Leads with 9 Seats, AAP Trails in Voting Trends
AAP came in power in delhi in 2013 by winning 28 seats, but government are only lasts for 49 days. In the 2015 elections, AAP won by 67 seats and in the 2020 elections, they won 62 seats. But this year, trends seem to be change.
As the voting starts, EC saw the voter turnout of 60.5%, that is 2 % less than voter turnout stood at 62.82 per cent, in 2020 elections. The counting of votes continues amid tight security at 19 locations in the national capital, and results will be out soon.
