Sonia Gandhi alleged BJP for imposing National Education Policy without consultation

Former Congress president Sonia Gandhi has released a scathing attack on the BJP government. Sonia Gandhi alleged BJP for imposing the Countryal Education Policy (NEP) 2020 without consultation and prioritising political objectives over educational welfare. In an opinion piece posted in a leading way, Gandhi alleged that the NEP 2020 serves as a device for the government to push its schedule of centralisation, commercialisation, and communalisation.

“The advent of the high-profile National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 has highlights the truth of a government that is profoundly indifferent to the education of India’s childrens and adults. Over the last decade, its track report has confirmed that during education, its top situation is to implement 3 middle time table objects — centralisation of energy, commercialisation by personal quarter outsourcing, and communalisation of textbooks, curriculum, and institutions,” she wrote.

Sonia Gandhi’s remarks came against the backdrop of a developing rift between the Tamil Nadu authorities and the Centre over alleged tries to impose Hindi through the NEP. In her review, the previous Congress leader did not mention Tamil Nadu or the alleged Hindi imposition in the country.

The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), led through Chief Minister MK Stalin, has strongly adverse the coverage, putting forward that Tamil Nadu will by not given Hindi imposition. Meanwhile, the Congress, an best friend of the DMK, has taken a more measured stance, declaring, “Hindi may be learnt by preference but not by imposition”.

Sonia also alleged Government over Federal Training
