ChatGPT is down for many users in world yesterday. Thousands of users report outrages in multiple countries. Many people were unable to get responses. OpenAI has not make official statement on it yet, but they are looking into outrage and try to restore services.
ChatGPT disrupts many users globally
ChatGPT’s status checker shows that it experience trouble in loading ChatGPT, Codex, and the API platform. “Users may face problems with ChatGPT Business after upgrading or adding new seats for up to an hour. We have made some fixes and are watching for recovery.”
Many users also show their frustration about this outrage on social media. One of user with username “Dams Solo” said, “It break my coffee time.” Other users also voiced their annoyance on ‘X’, stating that the site is down and not working for them at all.
Attack On OpenAI CEO Sam Altman’s Residence
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman’s home in San Francisco was targeted in two incidents within three days. In the first incident, a 20-year-old man threw a Molotov cocktail at his Russian Hill residence, causing a small fire at the gate with no injuries.
He was later arrested near OpenAI’s office after allegedly damaging property, making threats, and carrying incendiary items along with an anti-AI manifesto. The suspect had reportedly traveled from Texas.
