The leaders recalled their meeting last month in Brasília. They agreed on a complete framework to enlarge cooperation throughout key sectors, like trade, technology, power, defence, agriculture, health, and people-to-peoples ties.

Both leaders share vision beyond bilateral ties
The focus on a “peoples-centric” method shows the shared vision of both leaders to put PM Modi and Lula. With each countries playing influential roles in multilateral systems such as BRICS, G20, and the UN. The strategic alignment consists of implications beyond bilateral ties, relating global governance, climate action, and equitable development.
President Lula, who championed South-South harmony expressed interest in leveraging Brazil’s agricultural and technological strengths to support mutual increase. India, in the meantime, sees Brazil as a key partner in diversifying p sources, improving defence collaboration, and promoting integrated health initiatives.
