Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced on Facebook that it was the first time the government building’s roof and upper floors had been damaged due to an enemy attack.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen condemned Russia’s latest large-scale drone and missile strikes on Ukraine. She accused the Kremlin of undermining diplomacy and international law and reaffirmed the EU’s strong support for Kyiv. “Once again, the Kremlin is mocking diplomacy, trampling international law, and killing indiscriminately.
Europe stands, and will continue to stand, fully behind Ukraine. We are strengthening Ukraine’s armed forces, building lasting security guarantees, and tightening sanctions to increase pressure on Russia. The killing must end,” Ursula wrote on X.
