A day after US President Donald Trump warned India of revised tariffs due to its purchase of Russian oil. Speaking about the US current threat, Russia Slams Trump and said to journalists, “Looking to force countries to stop trading with Russia is illegal.”
Peskov similarly informed reporters that countries have the right to select their own trade partners, and such risks can’t made. The Kremlin spokesman said that such pressures on Russia’s trading partners interpreted as “threats”.
Russia Slams Trump for against the Trade relationships
We hear many statements about threats or attempts to pressure countries to reduce trade relations with Russia. We do not forget such statements to be criminal,” Peskov said to journalists.
“We consider that sovereign international locations have the right to choose their own trading partners, partners for change and financial cooperation, and to choose for themselves the types of trade and financial cooperation that are in the interests of a particular country,” he said.
Kremlin’s statement comes after Trump issued every other warning for India on Monday night, warning New Delhi of revised tariffs if it did not prevent its purchase of Russian oil and other military products.
