Chaos erupted on the streets of Minneapolis on Wednesday when ICE Agent Kills Woman, as per reports from the Department of Homeland Security.
The shooting occurred in a residential area. DHS spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin said that the officer acted after the 37-year-old woman attempted to hit officers at the scene.

This incident marks a significant escalation in the recent immigration crackdowns in major US cities during the Trump administration. It is at least the fifth reported death connected to immigration enforcement operations across various states since 2024.
Trump Says Shooting Video ‘Horrible to Watch’
US President Donald Trump defended the ICE agent involved in the fatal shooting on Thursday. He suggested that the incident seemed to be an act of self-defense.
In response to the shooting footage, Trump called the video a “horrible thing to watch” and claimed that the woman intentionally targeted the officer.
“The woman driving the car very disorderly, obstructing and resisting, who then violently and viciously ran over the ICE Officer, who seems to have shot her in self-defense,” Trump wrote.
The woman killed in a neighborhood south of downtown Minneapolis, just blocks from some of the oldest immigrant-run markets in the city. This location is also about a mile from where George Floyd killed by police in 2020, an event that changed national conversations on policing and racial justice.
