Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in Tokyo for an official visit to Japan. The goal is to strengthen the state’s investment opportunities and industrial growth. During the visit from February 25 to 26, he will participate in important meetings and discussions to boost cooperation and explore investment opportunities for the state.

A day earlier, the Chief Minister mentioned that Uttar Pradesh received investment proposals worth up to Rs 1 lakh crore during engagements in Singapore. He noted that Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth Rs 60,000 crore have already been finalized, calling this a major step toward transforming the state into a 1 trillion dollar economy.
Strengthens the UP economy
On X, the Yogi Adityanath official account posted, “To boost investment in Uttar Pradesh, we have received investment proposals worth up to 1 lakh crore in Singapore, along with finalized MoUs worth 60,000 crore. All of these will prove to be milestones in the direction of making Uttar Pradesh a $1 trillion economy.”
He also addressed an investor roadshow in Singapore earlier today. He pitched his state as a secure and fast-growing destination for global investment. Assuring business leaders of a good environment in the state, he said, “I can assure you that every investment coming into Uttar Pradesh is secure. We not only provide a safe environment but also connect scale with skill and speed.”
