Recently, the workspace issue arise at the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Nashik unit. Multiple employees accused colleagues of sexual harassment and religious abuse. It led to police action, arrests and ongoing investigation in it.
Nashik TCS Employees arrested in Harassment case
The matter came to light when a female employee filed a complaint at the Deolali Camp Police Station. She alleged that she faced repeated harassment over several years.
Investigations revealed a wider pattern, leading authorities to register a total of nine FIRs by April 3. This includes eight complaints from women employees about sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior related to religion, along with one complaint from a male employee who claimed to have hurt religious sentiments.
Misconduct at workplace
The alleged incidents occurred between February 2022 and March 2026, indicating ongoing misconduct at the workplace. Several victims said they reported the issues to the company’s human resources department numerous times, sending over 78 emails and making multiple phone calls, but no real action was taken.
As the investigation continued, police and complainants described what seemed like a systematic pattern of targeting employees. Reports suggest that the accused set up multiple WhatsApp groups and smaller internal communication circles to connect with colleagues and gradually influence them.
