Shariful Islam Shehzad, who has been in the news from January for allegedly attacking actor Saif Ali Khan at some stage in a robbery attempt at his Bandra home, has filed a bail application in the Mumbai Sessions Court. The plea, submitted by his advocate Ajay Gawali, claims that he has not committed any offense. He said that case towards him is fabricated.
“The FIR is fake, and a false case has been registered against him,” the plea states. It also mention that Islam has completely cooperated with the investigation. His legal professional argues that all key proof, along with CCTV pictures and speak to information. He has already been gathered by the prosecution, and there’s no risk of him tampering with evidence or influencing witnesses.
Saif Ali Khan Attacker seeks Bail
On January 16, the Bandra police registered a First Information Report (FIR) against an unknown intruder who entered the house of Khan and his wife, Kareena Kapoor. After a personnel member in the house saw the intruder and raised the alarm, Khan got here out of his room and questioned the man. The actor became then allegedly attacked with a hexa blade, and victim injuries on his hand, neck and lower back. While Khan was rushed to the clinic, the intruder managed to get away.
Why Shariful Islam Shehzad arrested
Islam has been accused of breaking into Saif Ali Khan’s Mumbai house with the aim of robbing. He has also been accused of attacking the actor and his staff member using a wooden weapon and a blade. Saif Ali Khan was stabbed six times by the robber, following which he was rushed to the health center. The actor was discharged on January 21.
