As the terror of the Bishnoi gang is famous nowadays, it’s Bollywood’s greatest Shahrukh Khan this time to receive the death threat. This peril was issued by a man in Raipur to the ‘King Khan’ and was received directly at the Bandra Police Station in Mumbai, requesting a ransom of ₹50 lakh.
The Mumbai Police acted very swiftly in filing the case and sending a team to Raipur. During the investigation, they tracked Faizan through the active phone number to make an arrest.
This is not the first time Shahrukh Khan has received such death threats. Last year, when his films Pathaan and Jawan had turned out to be superhits, there were even threats to the 59-year-old actor. After these incidents, he was upgraded to Y+ level security with six armed guards that accompany him always.
Therefore, Khan has himself been the target of many such threats, as has been his history of standing firm in the face of intimidation, even from the infamous underworld in Mumbai.
Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan receive death threat from Bishnoi gang
Threats against other Bollywood superstars have reached a crescendo. Salman Khan is yet another favourite of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Bajrangi Bhaijan got another such message last week threatening him with ₹5 crores or an apology at a temple as punishment for his alleged involvement in the blackbuck poaching case.
In a similar case, the Karnataka Police arrested Bhikha Ram, a 32-year-old man from Rajasthan, accused of threatening Salman Khan. The accused, as it was reported, was a daily wage labourer, who claimed he did so as a fan of Bishnoi, looking for mileage out of the ongoing security threat to the actor.
All concerned parties took this seriously as stars like Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan continued to be threatened. Investigations into the cases by the police ensured that security measures were in place for them.
The authorities are uncompromising in the tightrope walk to stop such threats so they can continue doing their work safely.
