Gautam Adani, India’s second richest man, has once again entered the world’s top 20 richest billionaires club. Following the Supreme Court’s ruling that the Hindenburg and OCCRP reports were not credible, the ten listed companies of the Adani Group rallied on Tuesday.
SEBI, too, did not submit any incriminating evidence against the group nor did it ask for more time to investigate.
With a net worth of $66.7 billion, Gautam Adani climbed to the 19th position on the Bloomberg Billionaire Index on Tuesday, adding $6.5 billion in one day.
With an estimated net worth of $89.5 billion, Adani is the second Indian on the list of top 20 richest club after Mukesh Ambani.

Gautam Adani Recovers from the Hindenburg disaster
In late January, US-based research firm Hindenburg released a report alleging stock manipulation among the Gautam Adani-owned companies. Stocks have declined sharply since the report was released.
Following the apex court’s statement, the group’s companies added $15 billion in a single day, the highest amount since the report was released.
Despite the rally, Gautam Adani’s net worth has dropped by over $53.8 billion year-to-date; Adani Enterprises’ share rise 13% on Tuesday.
