Samsung has launched a new series of Mini LED televisions in India, with screen sizes ranging from 43 inches to 100 inches. This release coincides with the company’s 30 years of operation in the country.
Samsung New Mini LED launched
The new lineup features Mini LED backlighting technology, where the individual LEDs are about half the size of those in regular LED panels. Samsung claims that the smaller diodes provide more accurate control over local dimming zones, resulting in deeper blacks and improved contrast. This enhancement is especially noticeable in dark scenes or mixed lighting.
Prices starts at ₹42,990
For fast-moving content such as sports and gaming, the TVs support a 144Hz refresh rate under Samsung’s Motion Xcelerator branding. Its prices starting at ₹42,990. The technology estimates movement between frames and uses that data to smooth the following frames, which helps reduce motion blur.
The televisions are powered by Samsung’s NQ4 AI Gen2 Processor, which employs a 20-neural-network setup for real-time upscaling, contrast management, and sound optimization. An AI Sound Controller adjusts audio output based on the content viewed and user preferences.
