Indian student go in Coma after US accident. The student has identified as Nilam Shinde, aged 35 years old. Indian Student critical condition in Coma in California, and Her family applied for Urgent Visa and made an appeal to the Centre for a visa. Nilam Shinde suffered injuries and fractures on her chest and head after a four-wheeler hit her. Her family know about accident two days later. The hospital gets permission from the family to operate on her brain.

Her father, Tanaji Shinde, said that, We got to know about the accident on February 16 and trying for Visa since then. But we have not got it yet.” NCP (SP) MP Supriya Sule post on support of family and has request External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar’s help to get father visa, and tag him in post. Ms Sule told NDTV, ” It is an alarming issue, and we need to get together and resolve it. I have been in network with family and assure them that it will be resolved.”
She said she may have “political differences” with Mr Jaishankar, a BJP leader, but he is empathetic and helpful whenever it comes to the issue of Indian students abroad. “ My experience with MEA has been extraordinarily very good. They go to extra mile always to help, Ms Sule said.”
Legs and hands fractured of Nilam Shinde
As per Indian Student critical condition in Coma reports, the crash left her hands and legs fractured. “The police admitted her to hospital and her roommates informed us on 16 February. They told us that she’s met with huge accident,” her uncle, Sanjay Kadam said. He said, “They took our permission to operate on her brain. She is in a coma and we need to be there for her.”
Mr Kadam said, “ The hospital have give her health updates.” He said that they are trying to book visa slots at the passport office, but the next slot is for next year.
