413 people killed in Israeli strikes on Gaza

At least 413 people killed in Israeli strikes on Gaza on Tuesday because the Israeli army carried out “large moves” on Hamas targets amid stalled truce talks, the largest attack in the conflict-torn territory for the reason that ceasefire started on January 19.

Gaza’s civil defence company stated the air strikes, which happened during month of Ramadan, killed “more often than not children, womens, and injured about 150 peoples. The explosions have been heard in multiple places, which includes northern Gaza, Gaza City and the Deir al-Balah, Khan Younis and Rafah in primary and southern Gaza Strip.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF), in a post on X this morning, stated it was “engaging in widespread moves on terror objectives belonging to the Hamas terrorist company in the Gaza Strip” in accordance with the “political echelon”.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office later said the strikes have been ordered after “Hamas’s repeated refusal to launch our hostages, as well as its rejection of all the proposals it has acquired from US Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff and from the mediators.”

“The IDF is, right now, attacking goals of the Hamas terrorist company during the Gaza Strip if you want to acquire the targets of the warfare as they have been determined via the political echelon which include the release of all of our hostages, the living and the deceased,” it post on X.

Israel-Hamas Ceasefire Talks Stall

The truce talks stalled as 413 people killed in Israeli strikes and extend the first phase of the 3-level ceasefire agreement, whilst Hamas stated it would resume releasing hostages only under 2nd phase that become due to begin on March 2.

Israel desired to extend the first segment until mid-April, announcing that any transition to the 2nd section need to include “the full demilitarisation” of Gaza and the elimination of Hamas, which has managed the territory when you consider that 2007.
