The Darbhanga hostel administration has announced that it’ll take legal movement against Congress MP and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, for allegedly violating provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC), in particular Section 163. The declaration came through an announcement from the District Magistrate to the news agency.
The controversy spread out whilst Rahul Gandhi tried to visit the Ambedkar Hostel in Darbhanga to address students as a part of a scheduled interaction program. The district management had not granted permission for the event in the hostel and had, as a substitute, approved using the Town Hall as an change venue.

Despite this, Gandhi tried to proceed to the hostel. Initially, his convoy was stopped close to the college gate, but following robust insistence from his supporters, the gate was opened. He was later halted again at Khanqah Chowk, simply brief of the Ambedkar Hostel. Refusing to show up, Gandhi endured strolling and reached the venue, where he addressed the students directly.
“I came from Delhi to talk with you and to pay attention to what you’ve got to say,” Gandhi informed the crowd. “But the management tried the whole lot to stop me. They blocked roads and installation barricades, but I find other way. I was stopped, but they couldn’t stop me — because your power is behind me, and no pressure in world can stop that.”
Congress leader alleged BJP Govt
The Bihar Congress has alleged that the Darbhanga hostel administration denied permission for the Ambedkar Hostel application in an attempt to suppress Rahul Gandhi’s outreach. The celebration continues that the interaction was meant to be a non-violent student speak.
In his speech, Gandhi released a scathing attack on the BJP-led principal government, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He accused the Modi government of being frightened of public stress over the demand for a caste-based census.
