In the ongoing Nashik TCS case, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis made strong comments on Friday about the alleged involvement of an All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) corporator in the situation with accused Nida Khan, whose request for anticipatory bail was denied by a court.

Fadnavis said that the investigation is ongoing, and all aspects will be looked into to find out who is behind the alleged conspiracy. “It is clear that the AIMIM corporator, Mateen Majid Patel, helped hide Nida Khan. We will find out who is responsible. Are they involved in the conversion racket? Did they assist her? We will uncover the truth,” he said.
AIMIM leader Imtiaz Jaleel also responded on Friday to the updates in the Nashik TCS case. Regarding the claim that AIMIM corporator Mateen Majid Patel sheltered the accused, Jaleel mentioned he would gather details from the police but emphasized the importance of following the law. “I need to find out what our corporator’s role was from the police.

But one thing we need to understand is that the accused has every right to bail unless a crime has been proven against them. I’m confident that the police and courts will act fairly. If the accused were a Nisha Patil, Nita Deshpande, or Nancy Fernandes instead of Nida Khan, I would hold the same position,” he said.
Regarding the allegations and the legal rights of the accused, Jaleel added, “An accused person has the right to present their case in court and ask for bail. This girl, Nida Khan, was denied bail in the lower court. She has the right to appeal to the High Court. If she is denied there, she can take her case to the Supreme Court. This is her legal right. There are only allegations against her.”
