A minor argument during a workout turned violent at the MJ Fitness Centre in Hassan city, Karnataka. It left one man seriously injured with a skull fracture.
The incident involved two men, Keerthan and Varun. It started when Keerthan accidentally brushed against Varun’s shoulder while exercising.
Gym Argument turn into nightmare in Hassan
A video showed Keerthan moving past Varun, after which they confronted each other briefly inside the gym. During this exchange, Varun suddenly punched Keerthan hard with his right arm, knocking him face-first onto the floor.
After the incident, Keerthan sustained a serious head injury and suffered a skull fracture. He is currently receiving treatment at a private hospital in Hassan and is reported to be in serious condition.

“Yesterday at around 8 pm, a person was admitted to Janapriya Hospital due to injuries from a fight. When he arrived, he was only slightly conscious and had injuries around his head. We checked his blood pressure and provided the necessary treatment,” said Dr. Bashir.
“We performed a head scan and found multiple fractures in his face. At least four to five facial bones were fractured. He also saw a neurosurgeon and received stitches on his face. Some facial bones had caved in, and doctors recommended further treatment. The patient is stable,” the doctor added.
The incident is under the jurisdiction of the Hassan Extension Police Station. A complaint has been filed, and the police have started an investigation.
