Indian leaders including PM Modi and Droupadi Murmu pay tributes to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar

Today is the 135th birthday of B R Ambedkar. On this event, PM Modi, Vice President C P Radhakrishnan, and several other leaders honored him and pay tribute. The tribute event organized at Prerna Sthal in the Parliament complex. Various other leaders attend this event and recognize his legacy. PM Modi and Kharge were seen sharing a light moment.

PM Modi pay tribute to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar

On this occasion, PM Modi shared a message on X (formerly Twitter), reflecting on Ambedkar’s contributions to the country. He wrote, “Tributes to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar on his birth anniversary. His efforts towards nation-building are deeply motivating. His life and work continue to inspire generations to build a just and progressive society.”

President Murmu Pay respects

A day earlier, President Droupadi Murmu also paid her respects and offered greetings to the country. In her message, she emphasized Ambedkar’s role as the chief architect of the Indian Constitution and a strong advocate for social change.

“On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Babasaheb Doctor Bhimrao Ambedkar, the Chief Architect of the Indian Constitution and the great social reformer, I pay my respectful homage to him,” she said in a press release.
