Recently, the iron rod attack on Taj Express injured 2 people. The unknown individuals threw iron pipe at train between Palwal and Hodal stations and damage its windows. As per the Government Railway Police (GRP), the incident occurs around 8 am on Friday. A iron pipe, about 2 to 2.5 feet long thrown at moving train, that operates between Jhansi and New Delhi.
2 passengers injured due to iron road attack on Taj Express
One of the injured passengers is Rajesh Aggarwal, a resident of Faridabad. He suffered facial injuries from broken glass. Both injured passengers received immediate medical care at Mathura Junction.
Case filed at Mathura police station
Following a complaint from Aggarwal, the GRP registered a case at the police station in Mathura. Police said they have started an investigation and are working to identify and locate those responsible.
This incident raises concerns about passenger safety and highlights the need for increased vigilance and accountability from the railway administration.
