Built at cost of 12,000 crore
The corridor is about 213 kilometers long and has been built at a cost of over 12,000 crore rupees. It runs through Delhi, UP, and Uttarakhand, and it cut travel time between Delhi and Dehradun from over six hours to about two and a half hours.
The project includes the building of 10 interchanges. It includes three railway overbridges, four major bridges, and twelve roadside public facilities to ensure smooth high-speed connectivity. The corridor designed to significantly reduce human-wildlife conflict. It features an approximately twelve-kilometer-long elevated wildlife corridor, one of the longest in Asia.
