Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann highlights the female participation in politics

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann stated on Tuesday that there is a need for extra female participation in politics and governance. In the city to attend the convocation rite of Government College for Women, Mann focus on the development made by women in diverse fields. Degrees conferred upon 850 students in convocation ceremony.

He advised women to take active roles in politics and vote independently with no impact from their family and contributors.

What Bhagwant Mann speak on women participation

“While women are excelling in every area, politics is an exception. Women’s participation in governance is crucial for developing an identical society and making welfare,” he stated.

Highlighting women’s role in governance, Mann stated the state currently  has 8 women serving as deputy commissioners, 6 as senior superintendents of police (SSP) and 18 as additional deputy commissioners (ADC). He also said that this displays the growing involvement of women in decision-making positions.

On the country’s background, Mann said Punjab is India’s meal bowl and ‘sword arm’, known for its resilience, braveness and entrepreneurial spirit.

Mann Recalled his struggles

Mann recalled his ‘struggles’ in Ludhiana in the 1990s, whilst he become striving to establish himself as an artist. He advised college students to never lose desire in the face of failure, terming setbacks ‘stepping stones’ to achievement.

“Failures must in no way discourage you, they put together you for more achievements in life,” he stated. During the occasion, college principle Suman Lata requested ₹5 crore provide for infrastructure improvement and pending works, that initiated via Late MLA Gurpreet Singh Gogi.

The CM Bhagwant Mann confident her that the suggestion reviewed and asked the university government to install all of the vital info in the inspiration.
