The another flight of deported Indians has reached Amritsar, Sunday evening. The flight carry 12 Indians, include 4 from Punjab. The 12 Indians deports from the US to Panama and then Amritsar. The 4 immigrants from Punjab has been landed to new Amritsar in flight. It marks the first batch of Indians to deport from Panama after the US deports the already 299 immigrants who were follow illegal ways to enter American soil.
Panama and Costa Rica are working with the US to facilitate the repatriation of deported migrants. Under this effort, the US transfers undocumented migrants from several Asian countries who refused to return to their home country or whose governments declined to accept them
12 Indians deports from Panama to Delhi
The recent batch of Indian Nationals from Panama to New Delhi via Istanbul onboard a Turkish Airlines flight. 4 of the deportees were from Punjab, and three each from UP and Haryana. The identity of one individual was not identified at the moment. Four immigrants from Punjab will reach to Amritsar in flight.
The number of Indian immigrants among 299 deported to Panama are unclear at moment. These people arrived in the country on 3 flights last week after President Jose Raul Mulino agreed that Panama will become a ‘bridge’ country for deportees.
New Delhi verify the details about deported Individuals
On Friday, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said that it has seen some reports about deportation flights to Panama. New Delhi is “verifying the details as to whether the individuals are concerned about Indian immigrants or not
“ Once verification will complete, arrangements will complete for return of 12 Indians deports to back home, MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said”. The Trump administration vowed to deport millions of illegal immigrations who enter the US illegally.
