Bombay High Court has explaining the delays over uploading of a judgment on 30 May 2025, that is schedule to release on 19 December 2024. According to the record, Justice Jamdar dictated an 85- page judgement in open court on 19 December 2024. However, a copy uploaded to the HC site on 30 May 2025.
The case related to the Transfer of Property Act, wherein Justice Jamdar held that the purchaser bound by overall performance during pendency of form.
Bombay High Court Explains about workload and extended hours
In his order, Justice Jamdar mentioned why there is a delay in uploading the judgment copy. He recorded that on a daily basis, he sits past working hours and leaves his chamber by 11.30 pm. He also said that he even not relaxed on vacations as he desires to make sure the works gets completed.
Among different matters, Justice Jamdar highlighted he begins his works time table in the early morning and keeps to do the other judicial works up till 2 am, he said.

“As I am handling the Court at the least for 2 to 2 and half hours almost every day after normal Court hours, leaving the Chamber after correcting and signing daily orders after 10:30 PM – 11:30 PM on almost all the Bombay High Court working days and reading the case papers at my house up to 2:00 Am, analyzing the case papers in the morning as a minimum for one hour and also attending the Chamber on nearly all Saturdays/Sundays/Holidays for completing pending work, uploading of this order is behind schedule,” the Livelaw said.
