The Delhi Police’s Cyber Cell and Crime Branch raid at ENO and Nescafe factories and arrested members of a major and organized group. These companies are involve in illegal production, storage, and distribution of fake ENO antacid powder and counterfeit Nescafe coffee products across NCR.

The police found that fake ENO products used for relief from acidity, indigestion, and gas issues. The raid operation reveal that these products cause threat to public health and consumer safety.
A officials conducted the operation under the guidance of ACP Swagat Patil Rajkumar and DCP Rahool Alwal. Acting on reliable information, the team raided locations in MadhuVihar, where they found two illegal manufacturing units in operation.
Seize Goods of 20 Lakh
The police seized goods of 20 lakh, includes three single-track filling machines with compressors, around 100,000 ENO sachets, and 50,000 Nescafe sachets that were ready for distribution. They also recovered raw materials, including nearly 500 kg of coffee powder and two drums of acids. Packaging materials such as foil rolls, stickers, cartons, and gunny bags taken as well.
During questioning, Uttam Das and Papai Das confessed that the units had been running for the past two months from two rented flats, directed by Nitin Bhardwaj, who managed manufacturing and distribution. Bhardwaj initially fled but later caught in Sahastradhara, Dehradun, using technical surveillance. He revealed his connections to Sanjay Bansal, who was arrested near Kashmere Gate while trying to escape the city.
