Aam Aadmi Party leader Atishi urge CM Rekha Gupta On Saturday, to conducts meeting for Rs 2500 Monthly financial scheme for women. The ruling party has promised this scheme in its election manifesto.
Atishi wrote a letter to Rekha Gupta, asked why the financial scheme for women not approved in the newly formed government’s first cabinet meeting. Even PM Modi has promised it in an election rally. The former Delhi chief minister on Thursday itself, right after the first meeting of the BJP party, accused the administration of ‘breaking its promise’.
Atishi urge CM Rekha Gupta to hold a meeting on 23 Feb
Atishi said, BJP has made mind to cheat people. She sought to conduct a meeting with the CM on 23 Feb with AAP Party MLAs. “PM Narendra Modi in his rally in Dwarka on January 31 promised that their scheme give the Rs 2500 financial aid to Delhi’s mothers and sisters, after BJP government make. Atishi wrote these statements in her letter.
Further, Gupta’s predecessor mentioned that scheme not passed on cabinet on 20 Feb meeting have left women to feel “betrayed”. CM Rekha Gupta quick to hit back at Atishi over her broken promises charge and attack on the Arvind Kejriwal-led party.
CM Response on Atishi Letter
After Atishi urge CM Rekha Gupta to write a letter, CM Gupta mentioned, ” They don’t have right to question us.” “Now, we worry about delhi, and all decisions taken under leadership of PM Modi. They should take care of party, and there are many people who want to leave. They worried that when CAG report will be tabled in the House, the records of many people will exposed, she said.”
