Recently , Rahul Gandhi hit out at Lok Sabha Speaker and stated he not allowed to speak in the House and that this was not an right way to run the procedure. “I do not know what going on. I asked him to let me talk, but he (Speaker) just ran away. This is not any way to run the House. The Speaker just left, and he did not let me talk. He stated something unsubstantiated around me. He adjourned the House, there was no need,” Mr Gandhi tell to media.

The Rae Bareli MP stated the convention is that the Leader of the Opposition given a chance to deal with the House. “Whenever I stand up, I am not allowed to talk. What we want to say we not allowed to. I did nothing, sitting quietly. Not even say a word. I really have not been allowed to speak for 7-8 days. This is a new tactic. There is no mean for Opposition. That day, the Prime Minister spoke around Kumbh Mela; I want to add something and communicate about unemployment however I not allowed to. I do not know what the Speaker’s technique, but we aren’t being allowed to talk.
Rahul speak openly about non-democratic functioning
Rahul Gandhi hit out at Lok Sabha Speaker and said, “This is a non-democratic functioning.”. Before he adjourned the House today, the Speaker stated contributors of the House expected to keep decorum. “Several times have come to my observe wherein the conduct of participants isn’t up to the high requirements of this House. This House has appear as father-daughter, mother-daughter, and husband-spouse as contributors. In this context, I assume that the Leader of the Opposition behaves in the House as per Rule 349,” he stated.
