Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav has found himself in financial trouble again. Rajpal Yadav’s Property in Uttar Pradesh Sealed by a Mumbai bank after he failed to repay a loan of ₹11 crore. The incident has drawn attention to the actor’s ongoing financial struggles.
Rajpal Yadav had taken a loan of ₹5 crore from the Central Bank of India’s Bandra Kurla Complex branch in Mumbai back in 2005. The loan was meant to fund his production house ‘Navrang Godavari Entertainment Limited’ which he named after his parents. However over time the loan amount along with interest ballooned to ₹11 crore. Despite repeated efforts from the bank the repayment wasn’t made due to which Rajpal Yadav’s Property in Uttar Pradesh Sealed.
Property Sealed in Shahjahanpur
On August 8 2024 a team from the bank sealed a portion of Rajpal Yadav’s property near the Dak Bungalow in Shahjahanpur. The property was mortgaged when he secured the loan. According to locals the sealing was done so hastily that bank officials didn’t even bother turning off electrical appliances inside the house.
When people approached for comments Rajpal Yadav chose not to speak on the matter. The actor who is based in Mumbai has yet to provide any official statement regarding Rajpal Yadav’s Property in Uttar Pradesh Sealed. The situation however has become a major topic of discussion in his hometown.

Not the First Financial Issue
This is not the first time Rajpal Yadav has faced financial troubles. In 2018 he served a three-month jail sentence after defaulting on a ₹5 crore loan taken in 2010 to produce his film which was Ata Pata Laapata. The actor’s financial struggles have been ongoing and the recent Rajpal Yadav’s Property in Uttar Pradesh Sealedhas added to his list of the financial troubles.
Rajpal Yadav’s Roots in Shahjahanpur
Rajpal Yadav comes from Kunda village in Shahjahanpur. His journey in the entertainment industry began with theater performances in Shahjahanpur from 1987 to 1992. He later attended the Bharatendu Natya Akademi in Lucknow before joining the National School of Drama in Delhi. Despite his fame Rajpal Yadav visits his hometown at least once a year.
