BCCI announce the IPL 2026 Mini auction schedule
Franchise officials have talked to the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) about the auction’s timing. However, the BCCI has not yet confirmed the final date for the IPL 2026 auction. There is also no information about the location for the upcoming auction. The last two editions held in Dubai (2023) and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (2024).
Currently, the BCCI might bring the mini-auction back to India, changing things after two international editions. With the mini-auction likely set for December 13 to 15, all franchises need to submit their final list of retained players by November 15, as reported by Cricbuzz. The final dates for player retention and the auction not announced, but the BCCI expected to release the official schedule soon.
