DC need strong start to chase 226 score. Rahul scored 75 off 40, and Nissanka hit 62 off 33, tearing apart the RR bowling attack from the first over. Nissanka was the early aggressor, getting his first IPL fifty in just 23 balls. Meanwhile, Rahul steadied the chase before unleashing consecutive sixes off Ravi Bishnoi in the middle overs. 

  • The Foundation: The pair put together 110 runs for the first wicket in only 9.3 overs, setting a solid foundation. 
  • The Middle-Order Surge: After both openers were out, Nitish Rana kept the energy going with a quick 33 off 17 balls. 
  • The Finish: Although there was a late scare with the quick dismissals of Rahul and Rana, Ashutosh Sharma scored 25 not out off 15 balls, and Tristan Stubbs added 18 not out off 11 balls to secure the victory with 5 balls to spare.
