The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) will be removing shutters and painting a bridge between Dongargaon and Kusgaon. Commuters should plan ahead and expect significant delays.
When Will The Mumbai Pune Expressway Be Blocked?
- Thursday, April 24: Mumbai-bound traffic will be fully closed from 12 pm to 3 pm.
- Friday, April 25: Pune-bound traffic will be fully suspended from 12 pm to 3 pm.
- The block is between Dongargaon and Kusgaon near Lonavala for bridge repair work.

Mumbai
- Vehicles will be redirected away from the expressway.
- Route: Kiwale → Dehu Road → Talegaon via National Highway 48.
- You will rejoin the expressway at the Kusgaon toll plaza.
Pune
Diversion starts from the Kusgaon toll plaza.
Route: NH-48 → Dehu Road → Kiwale before heading towards Pune.
