Indian-origin Kash Patel take sworn on Friday as 9th FBI director. He takes oath on the sacred Hindu text of Bhagavad Gita. His girlfriend and family members were present at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, when he take oath by US Attorney General Pam Bondi. It confirms him as FBI director by the US Senate
Kash is not 1st Indian-American who take oath of office on Bhagavad Gita. The Congressman Suhash Subrahmanyam also take oath earlier on it.
Kash Patel Says it Greatest Honor of Life
After Kash become the FBI directory, he called it as opportunity to lead country premier federal law enforcement agency. He also said that he was living the American dream and anyone who thinks the American dream is dead looks here. He said, “ You are talking to a first-generation Indian who leads the law enforcement agency of the greatest country on earth. That not happen anywhere else.”
He also made a commitment towards his work in the FBI and promised that there will be accountability both inside and outside of the federal agency.
Patel’s oath-taking ceremony
White House posted on X account After Patel’s oath ceremony and wrote, ” It is time when we restore justice and integrity at FBI. Make America safe again.”
US President Trump speaks to reporters ahead of Patel’s oath ceremony and said, ” I think he will go down as best ever at position, and add that “agents love this guy.” Gowdy came out with the statement and said that Kash Patel is a good person, and people not realize it. When he said, there was no doubt left. It was a big statement made by other who is respected and on average side, Trump said.”
