PM Modi is in Rome currently for the final part of his five-country tour. He shared images of his meeting with Italian PM Giorgia Meloni. After arriving in Rome, he posted various photos on X showing their dinner meeting and a stroll at the historic Colosseum.
Meloni and Modi share Friendly Colosseum Moment
“Upon landing in Rome, I had the opportunity to meet PM Meloni over dinner, followed by a visit to the iconic Colosseum. We exchanged views on various topics. I look forward to our talks today as we continue discussing how to improve the India-Italy friendship,” Modi said.
His post included visuals of the two leaders traveling together in a car and exploring the ancient amphitheater. The Italian leader also posted a picture showing both of them against the backdrop of the glowing Colosseum.

Upon arriving in Rome, PM Modi received a warm welcome from Giorgia Meloni, who greeted him with a social media post saying, “Welcome to Rome, my friend!” She also shared a picture of the two leaders at Italy’s famous Colosseum, known as the Flavian Amphitheater.
