The 96th Oscar Awards 2024 or academic Awards presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science which is located in Beverly Hills California US.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science was founded in 1927 and the idea of presenting awards was not started immediately due to being preoccupied with labor problems but after May 1928 the academy approved to present awards 12 major categories.
The first Oscar Award was given in 1929, The winners received the gold-plated statuette which is called the Oscar Award.

But these are rare awards which are not given every year.
After 2018 the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science also added a category for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Film but later decided to postpone this new category!
