PM internship Scheme Registration closes on 12 March, Goals to benefit 1.25 lakh youth

The registration for the PM internship Scheme 2025 will be near on March 12, 2025. This initiative is launched via the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. It targets to offer 12-month internships to Indian teenagers, “offering precious works experience and skill development opportunities.”

As per the Ministry, each intern will get monthly economic help of Rs 5,000. It is supplemented by one-time financial help of Rs 6,000. A one-time provide of Rs 6,000 might be given to each intern upon becoming a member.

Eligibility Criteria for the PM Internship Scheme

  • Age between 21 and 24 years as of the application’s last date.
  • The candidate need to have finished at the least secondary schooling (Class 10 passed), better secondary education (Class 12 passed). Those who have earned a diploma/degree which include BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BCA, BBA, B.Pharma, and so on.

The candidate needs to keep in mind that they must not be engaged in full-time employment or full-time education. Candidates in online or distance learning applications are eligible.

Additional Requirements

  • Insurance Coverage: Interns will be covered under the PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and PM Suraksha Bima Yojana, with premiums paid by the government.
  • Participating Companies: Interns will have the opportunity to work with main groups across numerous sectors, such as Reliance Industries Limited, Tata Consultancy Services Limited, The Times Group, ITC Limited, and Hindustan Unilever Limited.
