KL Rahul supports India A to win the game by 5 wickets, makes brilliant century. India A defeats Australia A in the 2nd unofficial test. The two teams played at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium starts September 23. After a tough battle, India A emerged victorious.
KL Rahul propels India A to achieve victory
Australia A batted first, scoring 420 runs thanks to strong performances from McSweeney, Jack Edwards, and Murphy. India batted next but struggled, managing only 194 runs in the first innings. Australia looked to take gain but crumbled under India’s excellent bowling, finishing their second innings with 184 runs. This left India A a target of 412 runs to win.
KL Rahul and Sai Sudharsan starred for India A in the second innings. To chase down the large target, India A opened with N. Jagadeesan and KL Rahul. Jagadeesan scored 36 runs off 55 balls, but KL Rahul’s knock was the highlight. He scored 176 runs off 210 deliveries, leading India to victory.
Sai Sudharsan role in making brilliant century
Sai Sudharsan also reached a century, scoring 100 runs off 172 deliveries. He built a strong partnership with KL Rahul, contributing to India’s win by five wickets. For Australia A, Todd Murphy was the top wicket-taker in the first innings with three wickets. Corey Rocchiccioli took two wickets as well.
