How to do Covid-19 Vaccine Registration in India through CoWIN portal

1. To register/sign up, go to the CoWIN website.

2. Once you have received the OTP, copy the digits and paste them on the login page before clicking the Verify button.

3. On the ‘Register for Vaccination’ page, include all your details, including your photo ID proof, name, gender, and year of birth. Once you have completed the above process, click on Register.

4. The appointment scheduling option will appear after you register. By clicking ‘Schedule’ next to the person’s name, you can view their schedule.

5. Click on the Search option and enter your pin code. As a result of the pin code addition, we will discover the centers. Alternatively, you can search by district name

6. By selecting the appropriate time and date, click on ‘Confirm’.

Citizens can easily reschedule an appointment and add up to four members through one login.

Aarogya Setu App Registration

1. On the home screen of the Aarogya Setu app, click on the CoWIN tab.

2. Enter your phone number after you select the ‘Vaccination Registration’ option. Then you can proceed with your verification using your OTP.

3. Enter all the information on the ‘Register for Vaccination’ page, such as photo ID proof, name, gender, and year of birth. Click the Register button after completing the above process.

4. You will be able to schedule an appointment after you register. Next to the registered person’s name, click on Schedule.

5. Click on “Search” after entering your pin code. In the added pin code, the centers will appear. Alternatively, you can search by district name.

6. Choose the date and time and click on the ‘Confirm’ button.

What information and documents needed for the registration of an eligible beneficiary? 

To register, you may use any of the following IDs with a photo: 

  • Aadhaar Card 
  • License to drive 
  • The Ministry of Labour also offers an insurance smart card issued under its scheme
  • Job Card under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) 
  • MP/MLA/MLC identity cards 
  • Obtaining a Pan Card 
  • A Passbook from a bank or post office is also acceptable
  • Passport 
  • Pension Document 
  • The service cards issued by public companies and by the government are also accepted 
  • Voter identification

Information about the due date of vaccination will be communicated to the recipient how? 

A text message will be sent to the recipient’s mobile number once online registration has been completed informing them of the date, time, and place of vaccination. 

Vaccine doses available to states, UTs: Center 

The states and UTs currently have over one crore doses available, and over 80 lakh more are expected within three days, according to the Center.

The registration of Covid-19 in India has also linked to several fraud scams involving it. As a result, the Ministry of Health is warning citizens to register only through official government websites and apps. Don’t let strangers access your vital information.
