The IPL teams of the year 2022 went all out dramatically during the auction of Foreign and Indian players.

Presently, ten IPL teams pressed their limits during the auction. After all, it is the 15th season of the Indian premier league.

Moreover, which IPL team would not want to enhance and rest their teams for the upcoming twenty-twenty Tournament?.

BCCI’s schedule and format divided the IPL teams into groups A and B’s.

Furthermore, IPL teams of this year have seen two new additions from Lucknow and Gujarat.

How did the IPL teams from Group A stack up during the auction?

The Indian Premier League’s Governing Council placed these five teams in group A,

  • Mumbai Indians
  • Kolkata Knight Riders
  • Rajasthan Royals
  • Delhi Capitals
  • Lucknow Super Giants

Presently, the IPL team of Mumbai Indians spent nearly $2 million on wicketkeeper and batsman Ishan Kishan.

Moreover, the IPL team of Mumbai Indians spent nearly $1.06 million on England’s fast bowler Jofra Archer.

However, the IPL team of Kolkata Knight Riders went up to $1 million to match the worth of Australia’s fast bowler Pat Cummins.

Furthermore, during the auction, Rajasthan Royal’s IPL team made a pretty fine steal on Trench Boult and Ravichandran Ashwin.

Even Delhi Capital’s IPL team went pretty high to stack up to their squad for IPL 2022.

After all, They spent nearly $1.45 million on India’s Shardul Thakur and Australian cricketer Mitchell Marsh.

Although Lucknow Super Giants are a new IPL team, they went all in to strengthen their squad for IPL 2022.

The Indian Premier League’s Governing Council placed these five teams in group B,

  • Chennai Super Kings
  • Sunrisers Hyderabad

  • Punjab Kings
  • Gujarat Titans

Chennai Super Kings, the IPL team of the defending champions, spent nearly $2 million on Dwayne Bravo and Deepak Chahar.

However, the IPL team still in search of glory is the Punjab Kings. Perhaps, their $1.52 million is well-spent o England’s power batsman Liam Livingstone.

Although, Gujarat Titans is a new edition to the IPL 2022 family.

However, their IPL team remained ahead of the auction, with cricketers like Rashid Khan and Shubham Gill already stacked up in their squad.

As we all know, Virat Kholi stepped down from the Captainship of Royal Challengers Bangalore’s IPL team.

However, RCB decides to strengthen their pack by adding Cricketers like Hazelwood and Harshal Patel.

Lastly,

While the nation awaits the IPL to begin, the IPL teams of 2022 have enhanced their packs for the upcoming 20-20 tournament.

The last few days were solid proof that 204 cricketers (67 Foreign, 137 Indian) out of 296 players earned a deal of a lifetime.

Perhaps, the time for intense bidding wars between 2022’s IPL Teams is over.
