Experts believe that India is ready for the challenge. But the problem is in rural areas and poor areas.

Many poor people do not know how to get a free covid-19 vaccine due to lack of awareness. Even poor people have little knowledge about the registration and use of the vaccine.

And even some people do not have their own phones and no access to the Internet.
The government aims to use 500 million doses to cover 250 million people by the end of the year.

Is there any need to pay for the vaccine?

Vaccination is free for all, there is no need to pay for it to anyone. The clinics of state-run government hospitals are providing free vaccines. But it is free only at government hospitals and clinics.

Those who do not want to go to government hospitals can book their vaccinations in private hospitals, but they will have to pay Rs. 250 for the dose.

The government spent $5 billion on free vaccines in government hospitals and clinics.

Even the central government is providing funds for free vaccines to the state government.

Does the covid-19 vaccine have any negative effects?

Well not for everyone, but for some people the vaccines come with very few side effects. Minor adverse effects are noted and reported, such as – anxiety, vertigo, dizziness, fever, body pain, etc.

But all patients recover without any problem which has effect for only 2 days. There is a surveillance program of about 412 people with serious adverse events, including 79 deaths by 13 March after receiving the vaccination.
