Specifications of the Apple iPhone 15

iPhone 15 has a 6.1-inch display and the dynamic island, previously available only on the Pro models. It is also the first iPhone with a USB Type-C port.

This iPhone comes with Apple’s second-generation ultra-wideband chipset, which offers up to three times better connectivity than Apple’s first-generation ultra-wideband chipset used in the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max models released in 2022.

The iPhone 15 has a 48MP primary camera and several improvements to improve the camera performance, allowing it to capture better portraits and low-light photos.

Aside from capturing better images with richer colors, the device also features a 4K cinematic mode, action mode, and live photos.

As a company executive said at the event, you can now frame the scene in cinematic mode and feel closer to the subject.

The new 5X telephoto lens was announced along with Apple’s new autofocus system — a 3D sensor shift that combines OIS with autofocus and moves in all three directions, the first of its kind on a smartphone. As a result, Apple claims that with 10,000 micro movements, image stabilisation will be more effective.
